An Advisory Board made of parent, community and staff members oversees each school. They are a non-decision making body who work on behalf of the Trust to monitor how school and Trust actions are put into practice. They are also a voice for the school community to ensure that each schools individual nature and need is addressed as much as possible.
The Trust board is made of non-executive members and the CEO. They are the decision making body in the Trust and are responsible for holding the senior executive to account regarding the success of the Trust. They have a separate committee for finance and audit who advise the full board on decision regarding finance. The CEO is the Accounting Officer for the Trust.
There is also a small group of members who are responsible for appointing the Trust board and auditors and ensuring the accounts are submitted. They have a largely 'hands off' role but are responsible for ensuring that the Trust's charitable objective is being met.
