Welcome to Avocet Academy Trust

Message from the CEO

It is a huge privilege to beable to lead a group of schools and I am delighted to be part of Avocet Academy Trust. As a Trust we are passionate about the education of pupils in Suffolk and we are committed to ensuring that all our pupils get the best start and opportunities in their education. We have a growing team of highly committed staff, governors and Trustees who are constantly challenging and questioning to ensure that the Trust continues to thrive. Our schools are very different in size and are in very different locations but they all have pupils who are inspired to learn, who work hard and who enjoy the challenges that come their way on a daily basis.

Avocet Academy Trust was formed in the belief that schools working together is the best way to raise outcomes for pupils and to ensure that staff are able to share expertise and develop professionally. We are able to offer staff training and opportunities across a group of schools and are therefore able to retain our excellent practitioners. Small schools are common in Suffolk and from experience I know that school leaders have traditionally played many roles within them. As a Trust we are able to provide services and support to our leaders to enable them to focus almost entirely on the teaching, learning and the welfare of pupils in the school.

All of our schools are rated as Good by Ofsted.

If your school would like to be part of Avocet please contact us. We are looking for partners who are interesting in helping to shape the organisation and work with our growing team to always provide the very best for our children.
